Handwash: To extend the life of the bag, handwash with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Dishwasher safe – temperature must not exceed 102°F. Prop open to dry. 

Dry: Dry open on a rack, or wipe with a clean kitchen towel.

Silicone bags are thicker, which affects the seals (unless the bags have a separate locking mechanism). 

(re)zips are not meant for high heat, so silicone is best if you are someone who needs to cook in your bags
