Frequently Asked

(re)zips and silicone bags are both great reusable alternatives to single-use plastics. The main difference between (re)zips and silicone bags is that (re)zips are lighter in weight and more affordable than their silicone counterparts. They are also leakproof and airtight with a reliable double-lock closure that creates a strong seal. You can actually feel it “click” shut. Silicone bags are thicker, which affects the seals (unless the bags have a separate locking mechanism).

(re)zips are not meant for high heat, so silicone is best if you are someone who needs to cook in your bags

Yes! Write directly on the (re)zip with a non-permanent marker to ID snacks, cords, daycare clothes—and more. Packing with a little one? Try a Crayola crayon for a fun, personalized touch.  Wash off with dish soap and a soft, non-scratch sponge.
